Getting here is easy with dependable regular ferry crossings. From the north and western isles travel to Colintraive ferry terminal for the ferry to Rhubodach. Then by road to Rothesay. If coming from the east, head for Wemyss Bay on the north Ayrshire coast (road and rail) and take the CalMac ferry to Rothesay...simple.
